Immersion sleeves for UV reactors and process equipment.

DEFINED BY YOUR SPECPROFILE
Component concept · Geometry and specifications confirmed with your quote

Custom and replacement immersion sleeves specified around the lamp, mounting assembly, and wetted environment.

Describe the installed sleeve, from seal to closed end.

An immersion sleeve separates the lamp from the surrounding process while providing the optical path into that process. Its dimensions must work with the reactor and the lamp assembly together. Glass Automated Products quotes single replacements, development parts, and repeat quantities for UV reactors, sterilizers, and open-channel wastewater equipment. Send the equipment model or your drawing, together with the dimensions you can establish.

Overall length, internal usable length, outside diameter, and wall thickness describe different parts of the fit. For a closed-end sleeve, indicate where the dome begins and whether the lamp needs clearance near the closed end. For an open-ended arrangement, show both supports and identify which surfaces carry the seal. Include any flange, step, groove, or ground feature separately instead of relying on the general tube dimensions to describe it.

Operating conditions help define what must be reviewed. Describe the liquid, cleaning method, temperature range, mounting orientation, and any pressure or vibration requirement. Provide the equipment manufacturer's approved material and maintenance instructions when available. A nominal sleeve length cannot establish an assembly pressure rating, a disinfection dose, or replacement compatibility. We review the component requirement and identify the information needed to quote it.

When a sample is the best reference, contact us before sending it. Label the equipment and distinguish an undamaged reference from a worn or broken part. Photographs of the mounting end, seal, and installed assembly can explain details that a loose sleeve does not reveal. For repeat orders, retain the accepted drawing revision and include any inspection or packaging instructions on the purchase requirement.

Mounting Seal location, retaining features, and support arrangement
Environment Process fluid, temperature, pressure requirements, and cleaning method
Reference Equipment model, original part number, or drawing revision

Works for

Closed reactors, lamp-protection assemblies, sterilizer components, and open-channel wastewater installations, with geometry and application suitability reviewed for the equipment.

Questions before you order

Can you quote an immersion sleeve without a part number?

Yes. Send measurements, photographs, and the equipment information you have. We will identify any remaining specification gaps.

Is overall length the same as the available lamp space?

Not necessarily. Closed-end geometry and mounting features can reduce the internal usable length. Specify both when clearance matters.

Can you reproduce an unusual mounting end?

Yes. Include a drawing or clear photographs of the end and its mating parts so the feature can be reviewed.

Are all immersion sleeves pressure rated?

No universal rating applies. The complete assembly, material, geometry, and operating requirements need an engineering review.

Can I start with one replacement?

Yes. The minimum quantity is 1. Include the needed date and destination with your inquiry.
