Industrial UV curing depends on the relationship between the source spectrum, the material being cured, and the delivered exposure. A quartz component in that optical path should be specified for its actual role: protecting a lamp, separating a process zone, transmitting a selected band, or forming a mechanical interface. Include the lamp or LED identification and any transmission or filtering requirement in the drawing package.
For flat windows and plates, provide thickness, clear aperture, surface requirements, edge finish, and the mounting arrangement. For jacket tubes, specify overall and usable length, outside diameter, wall, end features, and lamp clearance. Describe the cooling arrangement, operating environment, and cleaning method. Heat, support constraints, and deposits can matter to the component even when its nominal dimensions remain unchanged.
Replacement lamps and power supplies must be matched to the existing equipment. Send the complete lamp designation, active length, terminal or lead configuration, and power-supply label. A curing line using medium-pressure lamps cannot be converted to LED technology by choosing a similar-looking source; spectral response, controls, optics, and thermal design need an equipment-level review. We can quote components for a documented replacement or an engineered development requirement.
