A quartz sleeve has to do more than fit around a lamp. It must match the reactor, the seal, the mounting arrangement, and the optical requirements of the system.

Specify the features that determine fit.
Start with the outside diameter and overall length. Add the wall thickness or inside diameter, and identify the end finish. A domed sleeve’s overall length includes its closed end; the internal usable length is a separate consideration. If the lamp or mounting assembly depends on that internal space, include it on the drawing.
Seal interfaces deserve their own callouts. An O-ring seat, flange, ground surface, shoulder, or retaining feature should be dimensioned from a clear reference. Tell us whether the dimension is a measurement from a used part, a nominal catalog size, or an acceptance requirement on a controlled drawing. Those are different kinds of information.

Choose the sleeve around the system.
Single-open-end domed sleeves and double-open-end tubes serve different mounting arrangements. A sleeve for a low-pressure lamp is not automatically appropriate for a medium-pressure assembly. Lamp size, operating temperature, UV transmission, seals, and installation clearances all matter. Material grade and tolerances are confirmed for the application instead of assumed from an illustration.
We can work from a drawing, a sample, or the equipment’s existing part number. Replacement inquiries are reviewed against the available dimensional and system information. A similar name or nominal length alone is not proof of interchangeability.
