Glass Automated Products combines in-house quartz fabrication with sourcing and finishing for custom quartz and UV component requirements. Our Huntington Beach shop has worked with raw quartz tubing and finished components since 1998. We support one-off prototypes, replacement parts, revised designs, and repeat-production orders. There is no minimum order quantity: 1 piece is a real order.
Start with the function.
A drawing is useful, but it is not the only starting point. Describe what the component contains, protects, transmits, supports, or seals. Tell us what it contacts and whether the installation involves UV exposure, heat, pressure, chemical cleaning, or repeated handling. This context helps us ask the right questions about the part’s geometry and material.
If you are replacing a component, provide the equipment identification and any original part marking. A used sample may carry deposits, wear, or damaged edges, so we distinguish observed measurements from the intended production specification. We can discuss reverse-engineering when a drawing is unavailable.
From raw tubing to finished geometry.
Our core in-house process covers precision cutting, doming, fire-polishing, grinding and finishing, cleaning, drying, inspection, and packaging. For specialized geometry, optical features, or assemblies, we review the full requirement and identify the appropriate fabrication, finishing, or supply route. You receive a quote for the agreed part, with the important assumptions made explicit.

Not every dimension has the same job. Identify the interfaces that govern fit and let us know where geometry has flexibility. We can discuss cutting allowances, end finishes, wall selection, and tolerance priorities before the design is fixed. Design-for-manufacture support helps turn the intended function into a specification that can be produced and checked consistently.
