Quartz tubing. The right material, section, and finish.

DEFINED BY YOUR SPECPROFILE
Component concept · Geometry and specifications confirmed with your quote

Clear fused quartz, opaque quartz, and synthetic fused silica tubing for fabricated components, lamp protection, and specialized process equipment.

Specify the component around its job.

A tubing specification needs to describe both the stock and the finished part. Outside diameter, inside diameter or wall thickness, length, and end condition determine the geometry. Material grade and the application determine which tubing can be considered. Glass Automated Products supplies and fabricates quartz tubing from a single development piece through repeat orders tied to a controlled drawing.

We can quote clear fused quartz, opaque or OP quartz, and synthetic fused silica, including requirements that reference established commercial grades or approved equivalents. Identify the exact grade when it is mandatory. If alternatives can be considered, provide the optical, purity, thermal, or process requirements that an alternative must meet. A familiar grade name, a clear appearance, or a nominal dimension alone does not establish equivalence.

Our in-house operations include cutting, doming, fire-polishing, grinding and finishing, cleaning, inspection, and packaging. Straight, double-open-end tubing can be supplied as a finished component or prepared for a later fabrication operation. Heavy-wall, thin-wall, capillary, oval, flat, square, and rectangular sections are available to quote. For a shaped section, include a drawing showing wall distribution, internal space, corner details, and the surfaces that locate the tube in its assembly.

Build your specification

Requirement What to provide
Material Specified grade, optical or purity requirements, and allowed alternatives
Section OD / ID, wall, or a dimensioned non-round profile
Length Finished length and any allowance for later processing
Ends Open, domed, ground, fire-polished, or a drawn custom feature
Acceptance Critical tolerances, straightness, surface condition, and records

Works for

UV reactor components, lamp protection, laboratory apparatus, semiconductor process equipment, lighting, photonics, and custom quartz assemblies subject to material and geometry review.

Questions before you order

Can I order tubing cut to length?

Yes. Give us the finished length, section, material requirement, and end condition. We confirm the specification with the quote.

Do you offer non-round tubing?

Yes. Oval, flat, square, and rectangular tubing requests are available to quote. Provide the complete cross-section and critical internal dimensions.

Can one quartz grade replace another?

Only after reviewing the application requirements. Identify whether exact grade supply is mandatory or an alternative may be proposed for approval.

Does thicker wall automatically mean a suitable pressure rating?

No. The complete assembly and operating conditions must be evaluated. Wall thickness alone does not establish a pressure rating.

Can you supply one tube for a prototype?

Yes. One piece is a real order. Include any likely follow-on quantity so we can understand the development path.
