A UV ballast is selected around a particular lamp and operating arrangement. Input voltage alone is not enough to establish a match. Starting method, lamp operating current, power range, number of lamps, wiring, and control interfaces also matter. Glass Automated Products quotes replacement and OEM electrical components from the complete lamp-and-supply specification rather than a connector photograph alone.
Available requests include electronic ballasts, magnetic ballasts, amalgam-lamp power supplies, and medium-pressure lamp power supplies. For replacement work, provide both the lamp part number and the ballast label, plus the equipment manufacturer, model, wiring diagram, and revision when available. Explain whether the original assembly includes dimming, remote enable, lamp-status feedback, interlocks, or other controls that must be retained.
For a new design, identify the source technology, input power, duty cycle, environmental conditions, enclosure requirements, and the interfaces the controller expects. A supply with a similar wattage does not automatically reproduce the starting sequence or monitoring behavior of another unit. Electrical installation and system approval must follow the relevant equipment documentation. Do you quote magnetic and electronic types?
Yes. Identify the existing type and the complete lamp and system information. Any proposed alternative requires a compatibility review.
Can you supply medium-pressure power components?
Yes. Send the lamp and power-supply specifications, control requirements, cooling arrangement, and system documentation for review.
What if the original label is unreadable?
Provide available photographs, the equipment model, lamp identification, wiring information, and service documentation. We will identify the additional information needed.
Can connectors or harnesses be included?
Yes. Specify mating connectors, pinout, conductor and insulation requirements, lengths, and the environment in which the assembly operates.
