Cut-to-length quartz tubing, sleeves, rods, and component blanks, prepared around the finished dimensions your assembly needs.
Define the finished requirement.
Length is only the first part of a cutting specification. A quartz tube may need a square end for a seal, an allowance for subsequent doming, or extra material for a ground feature. Glass Automated Products reviews the finished geometry before cutting so the blank supports the operations that follow. Identify the features that locate the component in the assembly and the surfaces that contact a gasket, holder, or mating part.
Tell us whether your length is the final overall dimension, the open straight section, or a blank length before finishing. For a domed sleeve, these references describe different parts of the geometry. State units explicitly and identify the drawing revision. If an existing part is chipped or worn, explain where the measurement was taken; a damaged edge should not silently become the reference for a replacement.
We cut raw quartz tubing in our Huntington Beach shop and can combine cutting with doming, fire-polishing, grinding, cleaning, and inspection. For component blanks that you will finish elsewhere, tell us which surfaces must remain as cut and which need edge treatment. We can quote one development piece or a repeat quantity against the same accepted specification. Material selection and dimensional acceptance are confirmed for the actual job.

Questions before you order
Can you cut a single piece?
Yes. The minimum order is 1 piece. Send the stock dimensions and finished requirement so we can quote the work.
Should I include an allowance for doming?
Give us the required finished geometry and identify the domed end. We can discuss the appropriate blank and fabrication sequence.
Are all cut edges fire-polished?
Only when specified or agreed for the part. The required edge condition should be clear before production.
Can you hold my drawing tolerance?
Send the tolerance and reference surfaces. We review feasibility and confirm the acceptance requirement with the quote.
Can I provide my own stock?
Ask us to review its grade, dimensions, condition, and available documentation before shipping. Customer-supplied material is assessed for the proposed work.
