UV controllers, sensors, and monitoring components.

DEFINED BY YOUR SPECPROFILE
Component concept · Geometry and specifications confirmed with your quote

UV intensity sensors and monitors, lamp-out alarms, elapsed-time meters, and control components for specified UV equipment.

Specify the component around its job.

A controller reading only makes sense in the system it was designed to monitor. Sensor spectral response, viewing geometry, signal output, calibration, and the equipment’s alarm logic all affect that reading. Glass Automated Products quotes UV monitoring and control components using the complete device and system information. Provide the original part number, equipment model, and the interface that the replacement must support.

Available requests include UV intensity sensors, monitors, controllers, lamp-out alarms, and elapsed-time meters. Distinguish between electrical lamp status, accumulated operating time, a UV sensor reading, and validated treatment performance. Those are different signals. A running lamp indicator or hour counter does not itself measure delivered UV dose, and a replacement sensor must be assessed against the controller’s expected response and calibration requirements.

For an OEM design, describe the wavelength range, mounting and viewing arrangement, environmental exposure, input/output signal, supply voltage, and communications requirements. Tell us which alarms or interlocks belong to the existing system and which functions are being redesigned. For maintenance work, include the sensor window or sleeve arrangement where relevant, since contamination and optical geometry can affect monitoring. We review component supply with the necessary interface and documentation requirements identified before ordering.

Questions before you order

Does a lamp-out alarm measure UV output?

Not necessarily. Electrical lamp status and measured UV intensity are different functions. Identify what the device actually monitors.

Can any UV sensor replace another?

No. Spectral response, signal interface, mounting, calibration, and controller compatibility need to be confirmed.

Can you quote an elapsed-time meter?

Yes. Provide the power supply, display and reset behavior, mounting dimensions, and how operating time is detected.

Can control parts be ordered with lamps and ballasts?

Yes. A complete system and parts list helps us review the interfaces together and identify missing information.

Will a new sensor validate the treatment system?

No. Sensor supply and calibration requirements are separate from the complete system’s performance validation and operating procedures.
