Define both sides of the connection.
A flange, cap, or adapter has to fit the surrounding assembly as well as meet its own drawing. Glass Automated Products quotes quartz flanges, end caps, adapters, unions, and custom interfaces for fabricated components and replacement requirements. Include the mating geometry and the purpose of the connection so sealing, location, clearance, and retention can be considered during the review.
For a flange, show the outside profile, thickness, bore, and any bolt or retaining pattern. Identify sealing faces, grooves, and the datums controlling alignment. For an end cap, show the internal space and whether the closure is a separate fitted component or part of a fabricated assembly. An adapter needs both interfaces dimensioned, along with the distance and orientation between them.
Seals and retention hardware should be identified explicitly. Provide the existing component numbers, material requirements, and any equipment instructions that govern the assembly. If the request includes a retaining nut, gasket, O-ring, connector, or fitting alongside the quartz part, list it separately so the quote makes the included components clear. Similar thread or seal dimensions do not by themselves establish interchangeability.
Custom interfaces can involve ground, polished, formed, or machined features. We review the geometry and acceptance requirements before confirming the fabrication or supply route. Tell us which dimensions control a seal or locate another component, and which have flexibility. Include operating conditions and any customer engineering approval requirement; component geometry alone does not establish the rating of the complete connected system.

Are seals included with every quartz adapter?
Only when listed in the quote. Identify each seal or hardware item required with the component.
Can you review a threaded or ground interface?
Yes. Provide the exact interface specification, mating material, and inspection requirements.
What if I do not know the seal size?
Send the equipment identification, photographs, and available measurements. We will identify what else is needed to define the requirement.
