You do not need a finished drawing to start. These checklists help separate what you know from what still needs review.
Quartz sleeves and tubes
Provide outside diameter, overall length, and wall thickness or inside diameter, with units. Identify whether the ends are open, domed, flanged, stepped, or custom. For a closed end, distinguish overall length from any required internal usable length. Describe the mounting and sealing arrangement, and include a sketch of special end features.
Mark critical tolerances and explain their purpose. State whether dimensions come from an original drawing, a catalog, or a used sample. Provide the material grade if specified, plus the optical, thermal, chemical, and cleanliness requirements that the component must meet. Do not guess an unknown tolerance; flag it for discussion.
Replacement lamps and electrical components
Photograph the full lamp marking, the connector, and the equipment identification plate. Include the system manufacturer, model, original part number, and ballast or power-supply marking. Note what the lamp does in the system and whether the request is for a lamp, sleeve, power component, or complete set.
Connector appearance and length alone do not establish compatibility. Keep original suffixes and punctuation in part numbers. Tell us about any substituted components already installed. We will review the available information before representing a proposed replacement as a match.
Custom components and repeat orders
For a custom part, explain the function and identify mating surfaces, sealing features, and optical faces. A dimensioned sketch can begin the conversation. If you have CAD, include a readable drawing with the revision and acceptance requirements; a three-dimensional model may not contain the required tolerances.
For a repeat order, reference the previous order or quote and confirm the drawing revision. Call out every change, including quantity, material, labeling, cleanliness, or packaging. A familiar part number should not hide a revised requirement.
Quantity, timing, and destination
The minimum order is 1 piece. State the quantity needed now and, if relevant, the expected repeat requirement. Include the requested date and shipping destination. We quote most specifications within one business day and confirm fabrication timing for the actual order. Shipping is available to all 50 states and internationally.
