A UV LED module request begins with the wavelength and the function of the light at the working surface. Module footprint alone does not establish optical performance. Glass Automated Products reviews UV LED component requirements with the application, driver, thermal path, mounting, and optics identified. This is an available sourcing and component-support capability, including emerging designs that need a clear specification before a module is selected.
For a new assembly, provide the required spectrum, optical output or irradiance requirement, measurement conditions, working distance, illuminated area, and operating cycle. Distinguish electrical input power from optical output. Identify the module’s cooling arrangement and the thermal interface available to it. Include any lens, quartz window, reflector, or protective enclosure that changes the optical path or installation geometry.
For a replacement, send the exact module and driver numbers, equipment model, connection details, and available service drawings. A mercury-lamp system cannot be assumed to accept a UV LED source without a redesign of the relevant optical, electrical, thermal, and control functions. We can review the component supply request and associated quartz or electrical parts. System performance, curing results, or disinfection efficacy must be established for the complete intended process and operating conditions.

Why do you need the working distance?
Output at the target depends on the geometry and optics. The measurement location helps define a meaningful requirement for the module and assembly.
Can you include a driver or quartz window?
Yes. Specify the interfaces and optical requirements so the related components can be reviewed together.
Is electrical wattage the same as UV output?
No. State optical output or irradiance requirements separately, including where and under what conditions they are measured.
