Quartz and UV components for surface and packaging disinfection

Describe the exposure zone before selecting the component. We quote quartz windows, protective tubes, UV lamps, modules, and related electrical parts for designed surface-treatment equipment.

Keep the source and optical path connected.

Surface and packaging equipment can expose moving containers, flat materials, or complex assemblies. The geometry of the treatment zone determines which surfaces receive light and where a protective quartz part sits in the optical path. Provide the source wavelength, active dimensions, mounting arrangement, and equipment drawing. A transparent-looking window does not by itself establish transmission at the required UV wavelength.

For quartz plates or windows, identify thickness, edge finish, flatness or parallelism requirements, and any optically active area that must be protected during handling. For tubular protection, specify the lamp clearance, support locations, and end geometry. Include the cleaning method and the process environment so surface and material requirements can be considered together. If a coating is involved, provide the actual coating specification.

UV LEDs and discharge lamps have different electrical, thermal, and optical interfaces. Send the complete source and driver information for replacements, and define the intended control method for new equipment. We can review component options and custom quartz fabrication. The equipment designer remains responsible for establishing the treatment exposure, shadowing controls, guarding, and validation appropriate to the product and production process.
